Albania’s construction-to-retail conglomerate Balfin Group plans to build a shopping mall in its luxury seaside resort Green Coast near the southern town of Himara, with a total investment value estimated to surpass EUR 12 million.
Of the total, EUR 9.66 million is the investment for construction, and an additional estimated EUR 2.8 million has been planned by the tenants for the mall’s interior decoration.
The project, Galeria by TEG, is envisioned as an extension of Balfin’s Tirana East Gate (TEG) mall in Tirana, and will be operated by Balfin’s property management arm, ACREM. Galeria by TEG will accommodate fashion and electronic stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and supermarkets. Turkish studio EAA-Emre Arolat Architecture has been hired for the building design.
