REPACO Capital launches construction of Crevedia Retail Park

29 February 2024

The developer REPACO Capital has started construction of a new strip mall, Crevedia Retail Park, whose inauguration is expected for the second half of 2024, after the completion of a total investment of over EUR 15 million.

Crevedia Retail Park will bring two firsts in terms of tenants. On the one hand, it will host the first Annabella supermarket near Bucharest, with an area of 1,800 sqm. On the other hand, in the new project, the fast food chain Hesburger, a Finnish family company, will enter the Romanian market, which will operate a drive-in restaurant. Other brands that will be present in Crevedia Retail Park include Deichmann, DM, Fressnapf, KiK, JYSK, Pepco, Sinsay and TEDi.

“We are happy to have started the construction of a new retail park, in a bordering area of Bucharest, with great growth potential and whose residents need modern trade services, as close as possible. The fact that retailers, including many prestigious brands, have already leased over 80 percent of the Crevedia Retail Park area, even before the start of construction, attests to the trust they have in the REPACO Capital project, which we are convinced will be a success,” said Liviu Arnăutu, Partner and board member of GELD Capital Management, the holding company of REPACO Capital.

The development of Crevedia Retail Park involves REPACO Capital, a company owned by GELD Capital Management and Muntenia Engineering & Construction, in partnership with Weststar Real Estate, the real estate investment division of International Alexander Holding (Arad).
