RP Global Projekti, the Croatian unit of Austrian developer and operator in the renewable energy sector RP Global, plans to build a 50 MW solar power plant in Ljutine, in southern Croatia, according to the economy ministry.

Last month, the investor submitted an application to the ministry requesting an assessment of the environmental impact of the project which covers 60 hectares in the Seget municipality.

RP Global started operations in Croatia in 2022. Its portfolio includes both wind and solar projects, mostly in the coastal regions of the country, as Ljutine is the biggest so far.
