Unidevelopment plans to start at least 5 new development projects in 2024. The company is constantly working to replenish its land bank – currently it is primarily focused on the Warsaw and Poznań markets, the company announced.
In 2023, the company sold 423 flats and handed over 584 units to customers. In Q4 2023 alone.
Unidevelopment sold 114 flats and handed over 143 units. In the past 12 months, the developer has launched four new developments. Last year. Unidevelopment also took strategic actions of key importance for its future development – these included the implementation of projects in accordance with BREEAM certification requirements, a return to the Catalyst market and the strengthening of its position in the new Tricity market.
“Summing up the past year at Unidevelopment, it is certainly worth noting the activities in the Tricity. Our first investment in Gdańsk at Kusocińskiego Street, the implementation of which we started in the fourth quarter, was met with great interest among customers. This reinforces our conviction that entering the Tricity market was a good decision that will pay off in the near future and will be one of the important elements enabling us to realise our business plans. In addition, in the second half of 2023, we acquired land for an investment project in Gdynia. In this city, in the Chylonia district, we are planning to develop a multi-phase project for approximately 780 flats. Of course, we also want to take advantage of the potential we see in Warsaw, Poznań and Radom, where we have developed recognition and trust in our brand over the years,” commented CEO Zbigniew Gościcki.
“In the context of our long-term development, it is very important for us to start the certification process for residential investments. We are developing the latest Sadyba Spot and Kusocińskiego projects so that they meet the criteria for BREEAM certification. Taking into account the standards of this system and the stricter requirements for non-financial reporting and the creation of low-carbon buildings is key in our strategy. We are adapting to the current requirements as well as proactively preparing for the future challenges that await the development sector,” he added.
In 2023, Unidevelopment also confirmed its good position with investors. The company issued series A, B and C bonds with a total nominal value of PLN 54.9 million. For all of these series, demand for the debt securities exceeded their supply, so a reduction in subscriptions was necessary. All of these series were introduced to trading on the Catalyst market. The return to the debt market is an important step in the context of Unidevelopment’s long-term plans. Among other things, it opens up additional opportunities for the company to raise financing for further development investments. The developer’s debt securities were previously listed on the Catalyst market in 2017, it was also recalled.
Unidevelopment is a developer that has been operating for more than 15 years. It has an established position in the residential construction market in Warsaw, Poznan and Radom. In 2022, the company started operations in Gdańsk. It is part of the Unibep Group.
