Altex, Romania’s leading electro-IT market, will open six new stores in the first half of next year. These include a three-storey unit in Voluntari. The retailer is also expanding its logistics capabilities. The company aims to develop a new 90-100,000 sqm warehouse in Dragomirești Vale.
“We are in the process of preparing a warehouse in the area where we already have two warehouses. We want to streamline the logistics side,” said Raul Filip, purchasing director at Altex Romania.
Altex bought a 10,000 sqm lot in the Pipera-Voluntari area in 2021, planning a shopping centre for it with a built-up area of around 5,800 sqm.
