The shareholders of Atelierele CFR Grivița SA decided to sell the 30,000 sqm of land next to the former Griro factory in Bucharest. The approved price is a minimum of EUR 310/sqm, which means a minimum price of EUR 9.3 million. On the land there are also buildings with an area of 17,500 sqm, according to a company announcement submitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
The company with a capitalisation of RON 81 million is 92.8 percent controlled by the Association of Employees of CFR Grivița workshops.
Jan Demeyere, co-founder and partner of Speedwell, recently said in an interview that he would have bought the land if he had started the CityZen project on the Griro platform.
