CE Oltenia, the largest thermal energy producer in Romania, will build a gas power plant alongside the Russians from Alro, and four solar projects alongside OMV Petrom. The two investments amount to over EUR 1.4 billion.
Regarding the gas plant, the project would be completed in 2026. It is estimated that, during the construction period, more than 1,000 jobs will be created, and up to 80 new jobs will be available during the operational phase .
CE Oltenia will build, in partnership with OMV Petrom, four photovoltaic parks with a total power of 450 MW. The total investments amount to over EUR 400 million, and by putting the four parks into operation, it is estimated for the year 2024.
