Romania produced, in the first two months of 2022, a quantity of crude oil of over 481,600 tons, 23,100 less than that of the similar period of 2021, according to the National Institute of Statistics data.
Imports of crude oil amounted to 1.272 million tons during the first two months of the year, 3,500 less than the previous year.
The Energy Strategy project, published on the website of the Ministry of Energy, estimates that crude oil production will continue its slow downward trend between 2030 and 2050.
