The town planning certificate issued for a new non-residential building will be required for obtaining a building permit, will include a technical documentation for the mandatory installation of an alternative system for the production of electricity from renewable sources. The system should produce at least 30 percent of total building consumption, according to officials.
The buildings referred to in the proposed project are those of offices, education, health, hotels and restaurants, sports activities, trade and other functions.
To take effect, the measure must be adopted by Parliament and enacted by the head of state.
