The company Quick Stop car has started to build a network of car repair shops and tire repair shops at domestic filling stations. It intends to launch 120 of them on the franchise principle this year. In the next two years, it plans to expand to Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. The company stated this in a press release today. The general partner of the project and at the same time the main supplier of complete equipment will be the American company LKQ.
The main goal of the company is to quickly build a network of 400 fully equipped, energy self-sufficient service units and tire services at gas stations in the Czech Republic by the end of 2023.
“We are convinced that a large service network, with quality equipment and qualified staff, priced between authorized services and smaller garage services, is lacking in the Czech Republic. This is true both in large cities and especially in smaller ones. This project therefore intends to partially fill We want to spread our network evenly throughout the country, and we would like to enter the Visegrad Four countries in the future,” said Marek Zukal, the company’s managing director.
170 services should grow in Slovakia, Hungary and Poland by the end of 2024. The company wants to enter the Slovak market in the second half of 2023 and plans to open 40 service units in the first wave. In Poland, they should be put into operation by mid-2024 to 100, in Hungary in the initial phase about 30. The company is currently negotiating conditions in the countries of the former Yugoslavia.
The Quick Stop Car concept is based on service units that can grow on a green field in a matter of days and yet are able to offer a complete service for regular cars and vans. According to Zukal, their services consist of two interconnected modules, one of which houses a jack and the other has a car and tire service facility. The module with a jack has a clear height of four and a half meters, so that it is possible to repair supplies. The total size of the service is six times eight meters.
LKQ includes the networks of unauthorized partner car repair shops Auto Kelly or Elit. Another large network of independent tire and car repair shops is BestDrive.
