In the past financial year, ending on January 31, CCC footwear and accessories chains in the Czech Republic fell by about 32 percent year on year to CZK 1.3 billion. Profit decreased by 37 percent to CZK 24.4 million. The decrease was due to a coronavirus pandemic and related measures. This follows from the annual report published in the Collection of Documents.
At the end of last financial year, the company had 91 stores in the Czech Republic, and opened one outlet store in Dvůr Králové during the reporting period. Czech customers can also use the ccc.eu e-shop, which has been operating here since 2019, to make purchases.
The company employed an average of 800 people in the Czech Republic, 51 less than in the previous financial year. Wage costs fell by six percent year on year to CZK 229.7 million.
The CCC footwear retail network has been operating on the Czech market since 2004. It is part of the Polish CCC group, which also includes the HalfPrice chain with branded clothing, footwear, toys and home accessories. Last year, he opened his first store in Prague. The group also includes the brands eobuv.cz, Modivo and DeeZee. Last year, Eobuv and Modivo set up a store combining online and physical shopping at the Nový Smíchov shopping center in Prague.
