Last year, the Alza e-shop increased its turnover by a fifth to CZK 45 billion

According to preliminary results, the largest Czech online store Alza last year increased its turnover by a fifth to CZK 45 billion net. It processed about 18 million orders, which was 27 percent more than in 2020. The e-shop served about 5.3 million customers. Representatives of the company stated this at an online press conference today, they did not announce the profit.

In the Czech Republic, Alza recorded an increase in turnover of 18 percent last year, which was the best result in the last five years, according to the company’s vice-chairman Petr Bena. In Slovakia it improved by 23 percent year on year, in Hungary and Austria by 28 percent and in Germany the growth was doubled, 206 percent.
