TIM’s revenues increased by 38.8% y / y to PLN 104.27 million in January 2022, the company said, presenting preliminary data.
Estimated online sales made by customers themselves reached over PLN 75.45 million in January 2022, i.e. 41.1% more than a year earlier, according to the release.
“This is the first January in the company’s history and the eleventh month in a row in which sales revenues exceeded PLN 100 million. We are dealing with a permanent trend that was not even threatened by the Christmas and New Year period combined with a long weekend. Officially January 2022 was 21 working days, however, if we assume that most companies had an additional day off for the New Year on Saturday, it will turn out that last month sales per working day exceeded PLN 5.2 million,” said President Krzysztof Folta.
TIM is the largest distributor of electrotechnical materials in Poland. The company was founded in 1987 in Wrocław, since 1998 it has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Its consolidated sales revenues reached PLN 1,064.87 million in 2020.
