The first year of Nhood’s operations in Poland

The passing twelve months of Nhood Polska’s activity abounded in numerous important events. The company expanded the range of services offered, worked on new multifunctional projects, enriched the portfolio of tenants in managed shopping centers and malls, and carried out activities for sustainable development. It is also the first year of operation of the company in Poland under the new brand Nhood.

The year 2021 was an intense time for Nhood Polska, during which the company was building a new brand. Nhood began operating on the Polish commercial real estate market on January 26, 2021 to provide professional and comprehensive services to property owners.

“We have set ourselves ambitious tasks. We are working on new mixed-use projects that will make everyday life easier for residents and allow them to spend time in a different way than before, and we are transforming real estate to become places with new functions. We want the facilities we manage to have a threefold positive impact on the community, the environment and the economy, in line with the pillars of our strategy: People, Planet, Profit. The experience resulting from the presence in 10 European countries and many years of management of one of the largest portfolios in Poland means that we can offer entities from the real estate industry professional services in a wide range,” says Ada Walentek, CEO of Nhood Polska.

Nhood’s commercialization department is responsible for leasing commercial space in 24 facilities owned by Ceetrus Polska and is responsible for the so-called agency mandate in 28 commercial facilities with Auchan hypermarkets and supermarkets.

In 2021, Nhood Polska signed 70 new lease agreements for a total area of ​​over 12.5 thousand. sq m and extended 671 lease contracts for a total area of ​​145.5 thousand square meters. sq m for facilities owned by Ceetrus Polska. However, as part of the agency mandate in Auchan’s facilities, Nhood signed 17 new lease contracts for a total area of ​​nearly 1.5 thousand. sq m and extended 26 lease contracts for a total area of ​​over 5,000 sqm.

“Thanks to the activity of the commercialization department, the assortment available in shopping centers and malls managed by Nhood has been enriched with categories and brands sought by customers. I am glad that the portfolio of our tenants has expanded to include discount stores, zoos and drugstores, and the brands we previously cooperated with extend contracts and decide to locate more stores in the shopping centers we manage,” says Marcin Matysiak, commercialization director of Nhood Polska.
