Valašské Meziříčí in the Vsetín region wants to offer for sale 21 plots of land for the construction of family houses in the local part of Juřinka this spring. Representatives set the minimum purchase price for the electronic auction at CZK 2,300 per sqm, announced Jakub Mikuš, a town hall spokesman.
“Housing support in Valašské Meziříčí is our long-term goal. That is why last year we decided to build technical infrastructure, including sewerage, water supply and communications, for 21 family houses in Juřinka. The infrastructure should be approved by the end of 2023,” said Mayor Robert Stržínek (YES).
City officials have now approved the minimum purchase price for the sale of individual plots, namely CZK 2,300 per sqm. “In the case of almost 18,000 sqm of land, this means that after deducting VAT, we will cover the cost of building infrastructure and the city’s profit could be less than five million. Our goal is primarily to support construction. or operation of public lighting in this locality,” said Stržínek.
City Hall plans to offer the land for sale this spring in the form of an electronic auction. “Candidates can apply and deposit a principal of CZK 60,000 by the end of March, with the following auctions of individual plots of land. Building plots are available only to natural persons and the bidder can buy only one plot of land. infrastructure and the buyer will then be obliged to start the construction of a family house within 24 months,” said Alena Schattke, head of the property management department.
The deputies also approved regulations for construction on the land. Family houses with one or two above-ground floors with an attic and a gabled or counter roof will be able to grow there, as well as single-storey and two-storey houses with a flat roof designed as vegetation. The maximum height of the house is nine meters. “We have also defined these regulations in cooperation with the city architect in order to support the construction of multi-storey family houses. Nevertheless, we want to enable the creation of a single-storey barrier-free family house with a so-called green roof.”
