The first works on the investment site will start in the first quarter of 2022. 94,000 sq m will be installed in Mysłowice. photovoltaic panels with a total area of 16 ha. It is estimated that the installation will produce 39,000 MWh of green energy. The first electricity will flow from the farm in 2023.

The first stage is the construction of an installation with a capacity of approximately 37 MW. For its implementation, Tauron will receive PLN 82.5 million of interest-free loan with the possibility of redemption of up to PLN 24 million of eligible costs. The contract for co-financing from the Operational Program Infrastructure and Environment 2014-2020 was concluded with the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.

“This event is important from the point of view of new connection capacities in renewable energy sources, in clean, ecological and safe energy,” added Artur Michalski, vice-president of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
