Sunex will receive funding for R&D of a heating system project based on renewable energy

The National Center for Research and Development (NCBR) has qualified the Suneksu project entitled “Development of an Autonomous Heating System based on renewable energy produced under proprietary production technology with a high level of automation”, the company said. The value of the project is PLN 16.25 million, and the recommended amount of funding is PLN 8.22 million.

The aim of the project is to carry out industrial research and development work aimed at enabling the introduction of an autonomous heating system (ASG) based on renewable energy into the market, according to the company.

The assumed result of the project is also to be an innovative technological line, exceeding the standard ones used in the field of a high level of automation and reduction of labor intensity as well as an increase in the production efficiency of airsoft components. The project is divided into stages relating to the development of the concept of ASG subsystems and the development and verification of prototypes, integration and validation of the pilot line.

The project implementation period is from 01/07/2021 to 31/08/2023, amounting to 26 months.

Sunex is a producer of innovative solutions based on renewable energy sources. The company was founded in 2002 in Racibórz. It offers, among others: heat pumps, solar collectors, thermosyphons, assembly systems, connection systems, storage tanks, pump groups, heat exchange stations, solar regulators. It made its debut on the regulated market of the Stock Exchange in 2015. Previously, the company’s shares were traded on the NewConnect market.
