Sterling Cruise has signed an agreement with the American company Popeyes for opening 90 Popeyes restaurants in Romania in the next 10 years. Sterling Cruise operates in a franchise system several restaurants in Romania, including Salad Box, Taksim, Pep & Pepper, Boss Mini Burgers, Ai Sushi Bar, Resto Aperto and Turkish Kitchen.
Popeyes was founded in Louisiana in 1972, and extended in several other countries in USA and Canada starting 1984. Starting 2000, Popeyes is present in Australia and Asia as well.
