ING Bank will give up all brokerage divisions in the countries in which it is present, including the one that operates on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB). The only brokerage operations that will be kept are the Benelux (Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg) and Poland, according to market sources.
This year ING is on the second place in the top of the brokers on BVB, with intermediate transactions that have a total value of RON 1.58 billion. ING brokers worked almost exclusively with institutional clients.
