The Sif Banat-Crișana transaction, which buys the shares held by Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction in Doosan IMGB, was authorized and approved by the Competition Council. The land, with an area of 540,000 sqm, was the largest land parcel traded in Bucharest in the last ten years, with the exception of agricultural land. The deal was brokered by Crosspoint Real Estate.
“This transaction confirms the interest of some investors for unique assets, even if we are in a difficult period, affected by the pandemic and it is discussed in general about price contractions, crises or other negative signals. It is an example of trust given to the local real estate market by SIF Banat-Crișana, an investor with a moderate appetite for this industry, but which validates the situation that in more turbulent times there are opportunities and implicitly reference transactions,” said Codrin Matei, managing partner at Crosspoint Real Estate.
