The Spanish company Endesa will build six photovoltaic parks on the island of Mallorca, beginning with a 22 MV photovoltaic power plant at the Sa Caseta farm, in the municipality of Llucmajor. The project represents an investment of €17.7m and will be made up of 56,700 photovoltaic panels with a power of 385 Vp.
Once it goes online in April 2021 it will produce about 36.76 GVh per year, which would result in approximately 24,400 tons of CO2 emissions using traditional electricity production methods. Enel Green Power develops and operates renewable energy sources worldwide, with a managed capacity of over 46 GW.
