Dragos and Adrian Paval, owners of Dedeman, have bought a 64 ha plot in the Stefanestii de Jos commune in Ilfov county from the bankrupt Spanish company Martinsa Fadesa. The deal is worth an estimated €12m. Fadesa Romania, a subsidiary of Martinsa Fadesa, has originally intended to build a neighborhood with 7,600 apartments on the land. The parcel is located near the A3 motorway, where Mega Image, Carrefour, Decathlon and the LPP fashion retailer have warehouses. WDP is building warehouses for Auchan and Metro nearby.
