Poland’s power consumption falls 3.95% in March

Power consumption in Poland dropped by 2.09 percent between January and March, while power generation fell 4.56 percent to 40.76 TWh, most of which was produced from thermal-coal and lignite fueled power stations, according to PSE. The power grid operator said that electricity consumption fell by 3.95 percent y-o-y to 14.16 TWh in March, when the government launched a number of restrictions on public life to stop the spread of Covid-19.
