Ikea in the Netherlands starts operating again

28 April 2020

Six weeks after the closing of Ikea’s stores in the Netherlands because of the pandemic, its stores are reopening. The company has taken extensive measures to protect the health of its employees and its customers. These include allowing in only a certain number of shoppers at one time and setting a limit of two people for shopping together. Plexiglas barriers have been set up at the cashier points for the store and its restaurants. Play areas for children will remain closed until further notice.
