French DIY retailer Leroy Merlin has temporarily closed all its stores in Romania in response to the coronavirus pandemic. The company has 17 stores in Romania. It is planning to keep its online store active. Leroy Merlin is the first DIY retailer in Romania that decided to suspend all activity at its physical stores. The retailer’s Romanian business increased by more than 10 percent in 2019, reaching the half-billion-euro threshold.
