In a deal worth €10.2m, Tirex-Petrol, one of the largest oil importers and traders on the Moldovan market, has a new majority owner. The buyer, whose name was not disclosed, acquired a 95.5-percent holding in the company. Tirex-Petrol’s net profit more than triple in 2018 from the previous year, according to local news reports. The company is involved in the trade of petroleum products and liquefied gas in Moldova.
