14 May 2019

The Ugo chain of juice and salad bars saw its revenues rise 7 percent last year to CZK 452m, a figure that doesn’t include its earnings on franchises. E15 writes that the director of the brand Marek Franik said the network has grown to 80 locations and that it reached 4.5 million customers in 2018. However, it did not release its profitability figures. Franik said the company continues to look for new locations. Ugo is owned by Kofola, which is one of the largest producer of non-alchoholic drinks in Europe, with 1,800 employees and seven factories in the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Croatia. Kofola bought the Ugo chain in 2012.
