Following a €4m investment, Trei Real Estate opened Vendo Park in Bytów, northern Poland. The property, which offers 2,900 sqm of space, is fully leased to tenants like CCC, KiK, Rossmann, Media Expert and Pepco. Trei currently operates 11 retail parks in Poland and is planning to open five more by the end of this year in Pułtusk, Ostrołęka, Łask, Jawor and Solec Kujawski. The company also has retail portfolios in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
“Increasingly, we have been signing lease contracts during the early stages of our projects’ construction. This was exactly what happened with our Bytów project, where we had a complete list of tenants several months before the opening,” said Jacek Wesołowski, managing director of Trei Real Estate Poland. “The convenient single-story, retail parks that we develop encourage our partners with chains in other Vendo Parks to expand, as well as attract new companies seeking another business locations. This year we plan to add well-known fashion brands which, until now, have usually selected downtown shopping malls.”
