Fagus Group has opened a biomass power plant in Bosnia’s Knezevo municipality. The company invested €5m in the project. This is the first facility in the country that will produce electricity with renewable energy, according to the municipality. The plant has a capacity of 5 MW of thermal energy and 1 MW of electricity. The facility is also expected to produce 45,000 tons of pellets per year.
