Brookfield Properties acquires two Bronx development sites for $165m

Brookfield Properties paid $165m for two development sites along the Harlem River waterfront in the Bronx’s Mott Haven neighborhood. The seller, a joint venture between affiliates of the Chetrit Group and Somerset Partners, was represented by Pryor Cashman. Chetrit and Somerset bought the 133,000 sq ft plot at 101 Lincoln for $32m and paid $26m for the 127,000 sq ft site at 2401 Third Avenue in 2015. The two properties bookend the Third Avenue Bridge.
