The number of Datart stores in the Czech Republic and Slovakia is set to double beginning in August. This will be taking place through the renaming of Euronics stores, which has the same owner as Datart, the company HP Tronic. At the moment, there are roughly 50 Euronics stores in the two countries. “By the end of 2018, we’ll have more than 100 stores in the Czech Republic and we’re planning further expansion next year,” said Daniel Večeřa. HP Tronic produced turnover of CZK 15bn, with a profit of CZK 81.6m. “We’ll create the thickest network of electronics stores in the country.”
