Lukoil to build €1bn production plant in Burgas

Lukoil is planning to invest €1bn in a new polypropylene production plant in Bulgaria. The plant will go up in Burgas. Construction is expected to take three years, according to the president of the Russian oil company, Vagit Alekperov. The factory will export its product to the EU markets as well as Turkey. Lukoil currently has 221 gas stations around Bulgaria and has no immediate plans to expand its network.
