Prague’s second outlet mall has opened on the other side from its existing destination for cut-rate fashion goods. Prague The Style Outlets has had a difficult path to completion, having collapsed in 2008 as the financial crisis ruined any project built on a shaky foundations. It was bought up by a company owned by the PPF financial group owned by the billionaire Petr Kellner but when that company’s attempt to revive the scheme didn’t come off in 2016, the project was sold to Neinver. The European outlet giant eventually overcame a variety of issues and opened the outlet center last Friday. Located in Tuchoměřice by the Prague international airport, the mall currently features 63 brands, including Adidas, Bogner, and Nike, while the toy store Hamleys is opening its first European outlet store there.
