The Czech bathrooms supplier SIKO opened a new administrative and showroom building in Čimelice yesterday at a cost of CZK 300m. It’s been designed to a high degree of energy efficiency with a mix of open space and collaboration areas along with zones that meet the requirements of the company’s various departments. “Originally we wanted to reconstruct the original space but then we decided for a radical solution: to build and entirely new building,” says general director Tomáš Vála. The ground floor showroom measuring 1,650 sqm offers space for the company’s line of bathrooms and bathroom fixtures along with service zones where customers can meet with consultants. SIKO’s residential project Luka Living won the CIJ Awards prize of Best Residential Development & Developer for 2018.
