Agropapuk, Djurdjevic buy Meat Industry Srem Sid

30 April 2018

Agropapuk and Djurdjevic acquired Meat Industry Srem Sid. The new owners are planning to invest €3.5m in a meat packing plant as well as a new workforce, neighboring farms and livestock farming. Meat Industry Srem Sid was founded about 100 years ago as an workshop. It later became a state-owned company with 2,000 employees that used to export products to Western Europe. The company went bankrupt in 2001.
