Dr. Max revenues grow 8% to CZK 16.1bn

Česká lékárna holding, the operating company of the Czech drugstore chain Dr. Max achieved turnover of CZK 16.1bn in 2017, 8 percent more than in 2016. The company also runs the network in Slovakia, Romania and in Serbia but its Czech stores produce around 53 percent of the its turnover, according to the Retailek.cz news server. Česká lékárna belongs to the Penta investment group. Along with its network of stores, the company produces 320 items under its own brand, including the Nuance cosmetics line, vitamins, teas and various syrups. Retailek reports that the company will be expanding this line of goods. The Dr. Max e-shop had turnover last year of CZK 404m.
