Mall.cz is the latest example of a Czech e-commerce store that will be opening a brick and mortar outlet. The company will debut its store in the newly updated Galerie Nové Butovice and will at first be featuring goods from Philips and Lego. The company’s director of customer services Ivan Vodička told Mladá fronta Dnes that the goal was to make it easier to buy goods quickly without having to wait for delivery. At the same time, the new store will be serving as Mall.cz’s second pick-up point in Prague where customers can collect larger goods such as appliances. By Christmas, the company intends to modernize its other 17 pick-up points in the Czech Republic.
