Construction of a new pumped hydroelectric power plant is underway in Vrilo, a village in Bosnia’s Tomislavgrad municipality. The project’s cornerstone is scheduled to be laid this summer. The 66 MW plant is valued at €90m. The project is backed by the state-owner power operator Elektroprivreda HZ HB, which opened the first wind farm in Bosnia in the village of Mesihovina this week. The farm, reportedly the biggest of its kind in the SEE region, will supply power to 27,500 households in the Tomislavgrad municipality.
