IAC is opening its third Czech factory in Přestice. The automobile interiors suppliers made the $40m investment in a 32,500 sqm facility that will specialize in the production of high-quality door panels. It plans to produce around 600,000 annually, requiring an increase in its number of employees from 1,300 at present to 2,100. “As the biggest employer in Přestice, it’s crucial for us to maintain and to attract qualified and talented employees, who are the key to the quality we offer and that our customers expect,” said the company’s president, Jonas Nilsson. The company is trying to improve the quality of the services it provides customers and expand its positive reputation through the construction of the new factory in eastern and in central Europe. “Our new center reflects the commitment of the company to support our customers with premium interior products,” said IAC’s general manager, Robert Miller.
