Ratisbona Handelsimmobilien, the Regensburg-based retail developer, has appointed Gregor Volk to its management board. He will join Rudolf Schels and his son Sebastian Schels as the board’s first non-family member. Volk and Sebastian Schels launched the investment and asset management company Ratisbona Asset Management in 2017. In his new role of managing director, Volk, together with Sebastian Schels, will be responsible for all business concerns of Ratisbona Handelsimmobilien, which has more than 140 employees in Germany, Portugal and Spain. Volk has more than 20 years of industry experience, having previously worked for Invesco, Fidelity, La Francaise, Deutsche Bank and Universal-Investment.
