Mercator selling centers in Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina

The company Mercator is selling off its shopping centers in Slovenia, Croatia and in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The company, which is suffering from financial difficulties, is involved in 17 centers around the region and the current sell-off is aimed at raising needed capital. The largest of the malls on sale is Marcator in Saska, Slovenia. The 30,000 sqm center, it’s hoped, will be sold along with centers in Kranj, Koper, and Jasenice. The largest of the assets on sale, called Super Konzum center, is located in Zagreb, while smaller centers involved in the sale are located in Pula, Split and Rijeka. Mercator sold its biggest shopping center, located in Belgrade, for €50m.
