71,000 sqm mall under construction in Pula

Construction has begun in Pula, the largest city in Istria, on a new shopping center called Max Stoja. The mall will offer 71,000 sqm of retail space on a total of six floors. Two of those will be above ground, while the rest are to be located in an old quarry. This includes two floors of parking for 850 vehicles along with space for stores and entertainment content. The investor is Istracement Nekretnine. The center is targeting global brands, while a Cinestar theater with 3 screens has already been agreed. The investment is expected to come to around €53m with the added benefit for the town of 500 new jobs. Komgrad, a contractor from Zagreb is in charge of construction, while the design was prepared by ATP.
