28 November 2017

The North East Station Shopping Center in North East, Maryland has been snapped up by Klein Enterprises for $11.625 million. Anchored by a Food Lion grocery store, the 87,006 square foot retail outlet also features national tenants Walgreens, Waffle House, AutoZone, Wendy’s and West Marine. The facility is less than a mile from the Principio Industrial Park, which will house the new Amazon distribution center and its 700 full-time employees. Trading for a little under $135 per sqf, the center is also situated near the new 40,000 sqf Cecil County Public Library which is expected to open in late 2019.

“North East Station allows us to grow our already strong portfolio of retail assets,” said Daniel Klein, president of Klein Enterprises. “As we continue to expand geographically, we are thrilled to add North East Station to our Maryland properties. We expect that both the Amazon distribution center and the new library will draw significant traffic to the shopping center.”
