Shopping-Center Galeria Bałtycka GmbH und Co. KG sp.K. secured a €81m loan from Deutsche Hypothekenbank to refinance its Galeria Bałtycka in Gdańsk. Half of the financing volume will remain with Deutsche Hypo on a long-term basis. ”With this attractive financing deal we are pleased to be able to extend our real estate portfolio in our target market of Poland,” said Sabine Barthauer, a board member of Deutsche Hypo. Galeria Bałtycka is part of the Deutsche EuroStore portfolio. It was opened in 2007 and offers three floors of retail with around 200 stores as well as two floors of parking with more than 1,000 spots. The property is managed by ECE Projektmanagement.
