Energy components to be built in Bulgaria

2 October 2017

In Kardzhali, a town in the Eastern Rhodopes in Bulgaria, International Power Supply is to build a new high-tech factory. The value of the investment is thought to be around €18m or BGN 36 million. The new plant will produce power supply systems for the renewables sector. The factory is expected to employ more than 100 people when its first phase opens, but should grow considerably after that as there is expansion room at the site. The equity fund BlackPeak Capital put around €10m into IPS in late 2015.
