Enlight plans new wind farm in Serbia

Enlight Renewable Energies from Israel will build a wind farm in North Serbia, with completion due for the end of 2018. The €189m project is to be built in Kovacica and will have 38 turbines, with an installed capacity of 104.5 MW. The facility is being financed by the EBRD, Erste Group, Erste Bank Serbia and by the German agency Euler-Hermes ECA. The electricity produced should be enough to run more than 65,000 households around Serbia and is forecast to decrease CO2 emissions in Serbia by 247,000 tons.
