Lidl launches Czech e-shop

12 September 2017

Lidl is testing its own e-shop in the Czech Republic. For now, the discount supermarket chain operator has opened the e-shop only to its staff and their families. Lidl intends to make the e-shop available to the public this fall. The chain will sell only consumer goods, not food, online and will deliver purchases within three days. This is the fourth e-shop for Lidl and its first in the CEE region. Lidl e-shops are available in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany and all are served from the distribution center Lidl opened in Pilsen in November 2016.
