BTI Partners has closed on the sale of a 12 acre parcel of land for $13.2 million to Wellington-based Bainbridge Companies. Bainbridge plans to build 351 luxury apartments on the site, which is located in BTI’s Westshore Marina District, a 52-acre master planned community under construction. Located off of Westshore Boulevard south of Gandy Boulevard in South Tampa, Westshore Marina District is a mixed-use community expected to house 1,750 residential units, a 200-room hotel, retail, restaurants and office space, marina slips and a 1.5 mile-waterfront park.
“Our goal from the get-go was to turn this former industrial site into a vibrant waterfront community for residents and boaters looking to live, work and play on the Tampa Bay,” said BTI Managing Partner Noah Breakstone. “The Tampa Bay area is experiencing one of the strongest job and demographics growth in the nation. As the demand for new housing continues to grow, BTI and its partners are well positioned to meet those needs.”
