The retail developer Poseidon Group is plannging to open a new retail in Belgrade on October 19th. The new retail center is being built on the location of the former Rekord factory in the Rakovica district, which slipped into bankruptcy in 2006. Called New Capitol Park, the center will offer 25,000 sqm of leasable area and 40 stores which in total will employ around 400 people. Poseidon Group has invested €30m in the development whose construction and development has provided work for 1,000 employees of local companies. The British investor already operates a retail park in Sabac, and will be developing a new one in Sombor along with others around the country.
