In a sale-and-leaseback deal, Crestyl bought the Tesco department store in Brno. The price of the transaction was not disclosed. Dentons represented the buyer. Tesco will remain the anchor tenant. Crestyl is planning to improve the environment in the building, located at Dornych 4 next to the city’s main train station, with the addition of new stores and services. The general director of Crestyl, Omar Koleilat, says that entering Brno was a strategic decision, and the developer will work with the city on further plans for the department store, which will be announced next year.
